The problem we solve

Moving a law firm off a legacy legal accounting or case management system is a known pain. Today, Cutovr moves firms into QuickBooks Online. Clio Accounting migration is coming soon. The typical path is to hire a consultant, then spend one to three weeks in meetings, file exchanges, and review cycles — you coordinating, them billing by the hour. Lawyers are not accountants, and a migration shouldn’t require firms to become one.

For QuickBooks Online migrations, Cutovr turns that work into a hands-off, guided workflow. You upload your reports and answer a few simple questions; we prepare the migration path and handle the accounting-heavy parts — validate, match, post, reconcile — one screen at a time, with the safety nets a finance-grade tool needs: preview before posting, one-click reversal, duplicate guards, and an audit log.

How we think about this product

• Hands-off, not hands-on. You bring the reports; Cutovr does the work. No spreadsheets to build, no scripts to run, no accounting calls to sit through.
• Simple beats clever. The app is built for a paralegal or firm administrator, not an accountant. Customer-facing language uses plain English — “Starting balances”, not “Opening JE”.
• Nothing posts silently. Every step previews. Every send requires explicit confirmation. Imports are reversible.
• We’re a migration specialist, not a platform. QuickBooks Online migrations are available today. Clio Accounting migration is coming soon; tell us about your firm to hear when it opens. We’re not trying to replace your accountant or your accounting subscription.

Who built this

Cutovr is a small, independent team. We built this because we kept watching firms hand a routine migration to a consultant and spend weeks managing the back-and-forth — when the work should simply be handled for them. We are not affiliated with Intuit, Clio, LEAP, PCLaw, or any other legal-software provider.

The product is built and operated in the United States. The application runs on Render with US-region hosting. QuickBooks Online is the live migration destination today. Clio Accounting migration is not yet available for production migrations; tell us about your firm if it is the destination you want.
